LA Times Festival of Books!!

Chicago!!

Hey Everyone-

Just back from the RT convention in Chicago, and boy was it fun! I got to catch up with tons of amazing authors, such as:

Amy Plum, Josephine Angelini, me, & Melissa de la Cruz

Rachel Caine, me, Margie Stohl

me, Melissa de la Cruz, Ally Carter

Margie Stohl, me, Melissa de la Cruz

Margie Stohl (she rides in style!)

But the best part of all was meeting so many of YOU at this year's Teen Day Event, which was totally off-the-hook amazing!! Thanks to all of you who came out! I had so much fun talking with all of you and signing your copies of the RILEY BLOOM books THE IMMORTALS series, my stand alone books, and the super cool FATED posters I was giving away!

And, speaking of THE IMMORTALS, between the gorgeous red tulips on Michigan Avenue . . .

. . .and the sign for Damen Avenue on the way to O'hare airport . . .

(My husband was born on this street, and the name served as the inspiration for Damen Auguste!)

. . .it seemed like there were reminders of Damen & Ever practically everywhere I looked!

But, as much as I miss those characters, I'm equally excited about Dace & Daire, who you'll get to meet in FATED when it hits stores on 05.22.12!

You can read more about the world of THE SOUL SEEKERS by visiting my website, and/or "liking" the Facebook page where you'll have access to a free e-book exclusive containing selected scenes, and an exclusive short story where Ever Bloom & Damen Auguste meet Daire Santos!

Oh, and those who pre-order are eligible to win a pair of super-cool SOUL SEEKERS inspired feather earrings! Details Here!

Though weeks before FATED hits the stores, WHISPER, book 4 in the RILEY BLOOM series, will be released on 04.24.12!

As most of you know, Riley Bloom holds a special place in my heart, which is why I had so much fun writing her latest adventure in WHISPER!

Early reviews are starting to trickle in, like this one from Book Hounds that says:

“Absolutely loved it . . .The word whisper plays an important role in this story, where Riley again outwits the souls she is entrusted to help cross over. The world of ancient Rome is seductively described by Noel and you really feel like you are in the Coliseum cheering on the gladiators. . .I so enjoy Riley's adventures. This is safe for the youngest of teens and is a series that even the most reluctant of readers will get into. I know since I have recommended this series to several kids who say they hate to read but ask me when the next book will be out!” –Bookhounds

This weekend, I'm scheduled to appear at the LA Times Festival of Books held on the USC campus in Los Angeles, CA--and I'm told early copies of WHISPER will be on hand for me to sign! So be sure to drop by my panel on Sunday, April 22, at 10:30 AM, on the YA stage--to clinch your copy before it hits stores--the book signing will directly follow!

Panel: In the Middle: Tweenage Fantasy

Alyson Noël, Cornelia Funke, John Stephens

Moderated by: Aaron Hartzler

In the meantime, you can read more about WHISPER and check out the trailer HERE!

That's all for now--have a great day!
