LA Times Festival of Books!!

Hey Everyone-

Just back from the RT convention in Chicago, and boy was it fun! I got to catch up with tons of amazing authors, such as:

But the best part of all was meeting so many of YOU at this year's Teen Day Event, which was totally off-the-hook amazing!! Thanks to all of you who came out! I had so much fun talking with all of you and signing your copies of the RILEY BLOOM books THE IMMORTALS series, my stand alone books, and the super cool FATED posters I was giving away!

And, speaking of THE IMMORTALS, between the gorgeous red tulips on Michigan Avenue . . .

. . .and the sign for Damen Avenue on the way to O'hare airport . . .

(My husband was born on this street, and the name served as the inspiration for Damen Auguste!)

. . .it seemed like there were reminders of Damen & Ever practically everywhere I looked!

But, as much as I miss those characters, I'm equally excited about Dace & Daire, who you'll get to meet in FATED when it hits stores on 05.22.12!

Though weeks before FATED hits the stores, WHISPER, book 4 in the RILEY BLOOM series, will be released on 04.24.12!

As most of you know, Riley Bloom holds a special place in my heart, which is why I had so much fun writing her latest adventure in WHISPER!

Early reviews are starting to trickle in, like this one from Book Hounds that says:

“Absolutely loved it . . .The word whisper plays an important role in this story, where Riley again outwits the souls she is entrusted to help cross over. This weekend, I'm scheduled to appear at the LA Times Festival of Books held on the USC campus in Los Angeles, CA--and I'm told early copies of WHISPER will be on hand for me to sign! So be sure to drop by my panel on Sunday, April 22, at 10:30 AM, on the YA stage--to clinch your copy before it hits stores--the book signing will directly follow!

Closer Magazine!

Hey Everyone-

Well, I'm gearing up to start work on ECHO, book 2 in my new SOUL SEEKERS series- (I just finished book 1, FATED, which will be in stores on 05.22.12- see the awesome cover in the blog post below!)- but wanted to take a few moments to share a few things:

Last December while on book tour in Paris, I did this interview for Closer magazine (it's like People only in French), and since it was just sent to me, I wanted to share it with you!

Also, we've been working on it for a while now, and I'm happy to say that the International Immortals page is now up, featuring covers and links from all over the globe! You can see it HERE!

And, for those of you in the Chicago area, I'll be heading your way next April for the RT convention. Last year the Teen Day in L.A. was amazing--and this year's is gearing up to be just as good if not better--so I really hope to see you there! To see my scheduled events, click HERE!

Hey Everyone,

I'm on my way to LA today for the RT Convention where I'll be raffling off this basket to booksellers:

as well as taking part in Teen Day on Saturday, April 9, and I really hope to see you there!!

There will signings (I'm giving away EVERLASTING & SHIMMER bookmarks & tattoos!), panels, author speed dating/reading, and a party at the end to celebrate all of the Teen Day Awesomeness!!

It's all happening at the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, CA!

The signing will be from 11 -2 and costs $5- at the door.

To hang out for an entire day of festivities, including the party, the ticket price is $25- and the first 250 teens will receive an uber cool gift bag full of YA goodness!!
