Last night's Smart Chicks kick off in Austin was EPIC!!! Thanks so much to the hundreds of you who showed up and made the night so much fun!! We left behind lots of signed stock--including signed copies of the SHADOWLAND paperback which was released yesterday!!!--so be sure to contact Book People if you're interested in an autographed book!
Tonight, the Smart Chicks, consisting of: -Kelley Armstrong, Melissa Marr, Holly Black, Cassandra Clare, Kami Garcia, Margie Stohl, Rachel Vincent, & I -are headed for Houston, where we'll be appearing at Woodlands Barnes & Noble on Sept 14
And then on Sept 15, Kelley Armstrong, Melissa Marr, Holly Black, Sarah Rees Brennan, Cassandra Clare, Kami Garcia, Margie Stohl, and I will be headed to The Refuge to take part in an even hosted by Blue Willow Books!

I am so jealous of all my friends going out to meet you guys. If you guys came closer to Florida I would so consider doing a road trip. From the pictures I've seen already it looks like this tour is a real hit. Have a blast!
