New MG Book Deal for THE BONE THIEF!!

Hey Everyone-

In the midst of all the UNRIVALED pre-pub excitement (in stores everywhere May 10!)- I wanted to take a moment to announce my latest book deal for my new middle grade novel THE BONE THIEF!!

From today's Publisher's Weekly:


Krista Vitola at Delacorte has bought The Bone Thief by Alyson Noel. Set in a very strange small town where everything is weird and normal is not a plus, a ragtag team of 11-year-olds with otherworldly abilities set out to solve the mystery behind the sudden onset of “common” events plaguing the town. Publication is planned for fall 2017; Bill Contardi at Brandt & Hochman negotiated the deal for North American rights.

Isn't She Lovely?!

The moment I've been waiting for is finally here---finished copies of the US and International editions of UNRIVALED have landed on my desk and boy are they beauties! I'm all about the gleaming gold embossing- can't keep my hands off it!- and they've even hidden a golden strawberry under the jacket, so be sure to take a peek! I'm so grateful to my amazing editors and everyone at the Katherine Tegen - Harper Collins- Epic Reads team for putting together such a stunning package!

UNRIVALED is slated for a one-day global release (17 languages/200 countries!) on May 10, but if you're in the Los Angeles area on April 30 - May 1, I'll be signing advanced reading copies at YALLWEST!

Weekend Update!

Hello Everyone!

A big, sparkly thanks to all who came out to see me this past weekend at the LA Times Festival of Books! As many of you already know, I took a year off from writing, which, in the world of publishing, amounts to 3 years between book releases. So it was really fun to be back in front of the readers and seeing so many surprised and excited faces when they realized they were getting a free signed ARC of UNRIVALED a full month before the finished copy is due to hit stores all over the globe!

If you're in the LA area and missed seeing me last weekend, then come see me at YALLWEST in Santa Monica, California on April 30 and May 1st where I'll be taking part in panels and signing more UNRIVALED ARCS. All the details you need can be found HERE!

I'll also be appearing at BookCon in Chicago in May, as well as the Bay Area Book Festival in June- details on both of those events coming soon!

Lots of exciting things are underway: I'm revamping my entire website- with 23 books now in print it was time to streamline a bit and so the wonderful Maddee at Xuni is dreaming up a whole new look that I'll be debuting soon!
