Colorstrology!!

As if it wasn't enough that I buy ELLE pretty much for the astrology and numerology sections they print in the back of the magazine-- now there's THIS.

Colorstrology!

Yup, you read that right- a fun little tool combining your astrological birth sign with-- er-- color!

And with a December 3 birthday my color is "celestial" (it's a blue tone).

Oh, and it also indicates that I'm:

Private
Independent
Quick Minded

Which is so true!

So, to find your special place on the color wheel go HERE

Then come back to post your results if you want!

And if that leaves you wanting more then go HERE to buy the Colorstrology book!

Special shout out to the very awesome Lamia who finds the most amazing thing on the net and blogs about them way before me!!

My color is green and says I am musical, verbal and a travler. I don't travel much, but I was very musical in school and I love to talk, so I think my profile fits! I looked up my fiance's birthday too and it seemed to fit him as well.
Thanks for sharing-that's prett cool!:)

Claret red. I can't remember the specific three-word description (I'm 26 November) but the first thing it said was that no one sees the world like I do, which is oh-so true for me. Kind of creepy.

Thanks for sharing this; 'tis fun!

My color is "ibis rose" which is actually more purple than rose and my three words are: striving, clever, and spontaneous. I don't see myself actually surrounding myself with ibis rose because I think it's an ugly color, but I think the words are pretty accurate. :D

Also, I just did this for my daughter. Her color was "thistle" which bears a striking resemblance to the color I painted her bedroom walls before she was born--and even before I knew she was a she!

Hey GreenBeanSarah- How fitting that your color is green when you are, after all, the GREEN Bean Teen Queen! And who knows, maybe that travel will come in the future!

Hey Anilee-Oh, that's a pretty color! And so cool that it suits you!

Hey Trish- To be honest, I don't think my color "celestial" is all that rockin' either, though I do love the name! And very cool about your daughter!

OMG, that was CREEPY!

My "month" color was Caramel (my absolute favorite color and a foundation of my wardrobe), but when I plugged in my birthDAY, I got a more purply tone (NOT a fan of purple, but still) called Zephyr. I absolutely ADORE that color name.

My three descriptors were:

Intelligent
Writer
Financial Protection

Okay, that's just FREAKY at how accurate it is.

Hey Amy-- Oooh, I love when it gets all spooky like that!

This was so much fun! Apparently my color is Red Bud, and it says I'm powerful, charismatic and regal. Not so sure about that, but dark red is my favorite color. :-)
I'm bookmarking this page to share, too. Thanks!

Hey DeAnna- I'd say that description totally suits you!

Canyon Rose.. I'm determined and creative. Plus, I have a hard time balancing family and career. Hmm..

What a fun site. Thanks for the link. :)

Hey Keri-
With the way you manage your busy schedule--seems like your balancing just fine!

Turns out my color is cayenne which is fitting since my favorite color is red and I am also red according to The Color Code.

Apparently I'm fiery, energetic and courageous. I only doubt the courageous part.

Thanks for the fun link. I sent it on to my girlfriends.

Hey Suzanne- If you're a writer- you're courageous! Who else would willingly volunteer for so much rejection?

My color is -- wait for it -- bird of paradise! Okay, well, the name is a little silly, but the description for my birthday was eerily dead-on, down to telling me things that I've long thought but have never heard others voice to me before. Kind of a nice reminder. Though I do wish the color they chose was one I had more of, just to make things easier.

Hey Caryn- Big fan of the Bird of Paradise- so much so that I'm thinking of planting some in my yard! It's amazing how uncanny this colorstrology stuff is!
