The Mission Viejo Signing!

So last night I signed in my home town--The OC--and just like all of last week's signings, it was a blast!

It was so good to see so many new faces, and so many familiar faces as well, and I can't thank you enough for taking the time to come out!

As usual, the pictures tell it best, so, without further ado . . .

The signing actually started with a pre-signing signing when a niece and a friend of one of my dearest childhood friends stopped by with their own copies of DARK FLAME!

Greeting the crowd!

Me and "Ever"-she came dressed as Ever & her friend was going to come as Haven but couldn't make it--isn't she cute?!

Me & Melina who just got into Berkley! (Yay!) And her hoodie came with earbuds attached--seriously the coolest thing ever--I could totally see Ever wearing that in EVERMORE!

Signing!

Talking!

Thank you all again!!

Alyson, I am not surprised to see that you are loved no matter where you go. It looks like fun was had by all. Thanks for the link back to my post. :D

Your devoted fan, (oh, yes, you are definitely auto-buy status, in my book haha)

Reading about how the covers came to be is super cool. Dark Flame is one of my overall favorite book covers. It's just so dark and beautiful!

A side question: I love names. I like to write also and when I'm naming a character, I do serious research on names before picking the right one. I was wondering, how do you decide on a name? (Sorry if you've answered this question a zillion names already.)

Nely- Aw, thanks! Can't wait to get back to Miami!

Nelly- Thanks, so much, I love the covers too! As for your question, yep, I agree, choosing names is a serious business. I keep a list of names that I love and each time I start a new book I study it for names that might work--it's one of my favorite parts of the process!

Alyson, My name is MacKinsey Taylor...I am 15 years old and love the Immortal Series. It is everything every girl wishes she could have. When I read it I feel so empowered and loved by an imaginary guy..it feels great. I realy wish this series would be turned into movies. I think it would be as big as Twilight..if not bigger. I love your work. I have allways wanted to be an actress, for as long as I can remember. Not for the fame or fortune. It's a passion and lifestyle. A career choice I wish to make. When I act I get to be somebody I am not, do things I wouldn't normally do, live in someone elses shoes for a change. If this were to become a movie. I would love nothing more than to play Ever. I allready feel a part of her. I have the blonde hair, blue eyes, and I know what it's like to be picked on at school and want that feeling of being loved so much you will do anyhting to get it. I realy do wish I could play this part if it were to become a movie. I hope it will and I could get that oppurtunity. It would mean the world to me.
Love, MacKinsey

HI MacKinsey-Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and for leaving such a comment. At the moment, we are in talks for an Immortals movie, but that is all so far. If it does happen though, there is a good chance I will have nothing to do with the casting-they usually hire professionals to handle that, but if I did get word of an open audition, I would certainly post the information on my blog, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

All the best to you--keep following your dreams!
