Oh that news makes me happy!:) I loved that book when I read it in high school (one of the few required reading books I actually enjoyed) and I adore all of Baz Luhrman's movies. This would be a match made in heaven!

This movie could make F. Scott Fitzgerald the new Jane Austen!
I'm stumped on Gatsby, but I could see Adrian Brody as Nick, and someone very blonde--Naomi Watts, maybe--as Daisy.
Lamia- Viva F. Scott!!!
Trish- Awesome choices!!! Can't wait to see who gets it!
That is too cool!!! Where did you get your hands on this info??? Love that book, I read it last year in my junior english class.

Hey Iserr- Junior year . . .that's about the same time I read it too! And I've read it several times since . . .
Oh, and I found the info here:

Hey Green Bean- I totally agree! I think/hope he'll do it justice!
I love THE GREAT GATSBY! :)
I've ALWAYS pictured P.Diddy/Puff Daddy as the Gatsby. :) Even when I re-read the book a few years ago, I kept picturing him.
Hey Keri- Wow, didn't think of that- but I can see your point!
Don't know how I'd cast it, but I know Daisy should be someone blond and filmy.
Hey Amy- I like Trish's idea of Naomi Watts! She's def blonde and filmy!
