Great Interview! Though I never painted T-shirts, I worked in a T-shirt shop in HS. We pressed decals onto T-shirts with a huge iron press and made vanity license plates for cars too...ugh, I can smell the melting plastic!
Hey Pam- I think the picture was misleading, but I thought it was funny so I posted it anyway! But hey, feel free to indulge in caffeine if need be-- I would never stand in your way of a fix! I still have some of those poems . . .somewhere . . .though I can't bear to look at them!

Hey Angela-
Wow, I don't remember doing anything quite that industrious in HS. But maybe that's because I was too busy ditching . . .hmmmm
Thanks for stopping by!
Loved how you shared the story about handing in creative stories in high school. And to hear that the teacher supported you - Great story. :)
Great interview! I commented over there this time. :-)
Keri- Yup, Mr. Sawaya was awesome- so awesome that I thanked him in the acknowledgments of FAKING 19 and then visited the school to give him a copy!
Caryn- Oh cool, thanks for stopping by!
For a second, I thought your interview was how to present yourself in the best light at an interview!
I must need more caffeine.
(And I started out by writing bad poetry, too. I knew there was a reason I liked you!)
