Wow, there is so much going on right now, it's hard to know where to start, so if it's okay with you, I think I'll just jump in and see where I land!

First off: Just want to THANK YOU all again for your wonderful support of RADIANCE!! I know I've gone on (and on!) about how Riley holds a special place in my heart, and I just want to say that your support of her story (which propelled her to #2 on the New York Times Bestsellers list!), really means the world to me!

And, speaking of Riley . . . there's this fun little poll over at Girls Life where you can chime in on which of her super powers you'd most like to have--all you have to do is click HERE! And just so you know, I voted for instant manifestation! :)

Also, if you haven't yet voted in the Teen Reads Awards be sure to do so! SHADOWLAND is up for "Best Teen Read" and all you have to do is click HERE to see the other awesome nominees and vote! But be sure to hurry--voting ends Sept 12!

Oh, and I just learned that DARK FLAME made Borders Books "Best Books of 2010" List--woo-hoo! You can see the full list HERE!

And, I can hardly believe it's upon us after so many months of planning/anticipation, but as of Monday the Smart Chicks are hitting the road and I'm telling you it's going to be EPIC!

RADIANCE--coming soon!!

Wow, seems I've been so busy working on UNTITLED IMMORTALS #6 (yes, we are nearing a real, honest to goodness title, which I will hopefully announce soon-ish!), spending time with my niece & nephew who are here for their annual 5 week summer visit, and dealing with a nasty gum infection (best to just leave it at that!), that it almost slipped my mind that RADIANCE, book 1 in Riley's new series, will be in stores soon as August 31 is now just 3 weeks away (Yikes & Yay all in one!)!

I may have mentioned it before, but I have to say that writing Riley's story turned out to be some of the most fun I've ever had writing a book, so I really hope readers enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Hey Everyone-

Well, I just wanted to start off by saying THANKS for keeping DARK FLAME at #5 on the New York Times Series Bestsellers list for the 4th week straight! The series list is an incredibly tough one so I'm absolutely thrilled with the news and just want you to know that your enthusiasm and support means the world to me!!

And speaking of The Immortals, a reader recently sent me THIS LINK showing that Ever comes in at #17 on the list of "Hottest Baby Names for 2010"--and, there are two variations thereof as well--how cool is that?

And speaking of Smart Chicks--the Smart Chicks Tour is just around the corner (Sept 13-25), so be sure to check out the awesome new website HERE, the blog HERE, along with the Q&A which answers all of your Smart Chicks Need-to-Know-Now burning questions HERE!! Okay, now that the business portion is concluded, I just wanted to wish you all a great summer! Mine is turning out to be insanely busy with finishing the final Immortals book (still no title yet, though I will say UNTITLED IMMORTALS #6 is beginning to grow on me!), moving (yep, I moved, which means I spend most the day digging through boxes searching for things!), oh and my niece and nephew are now here for their annual visit (I just wish we had better weather for them--cold, foggy, and drizzly is not exactly the California promise!)!
