Passport to Reading!

I'm really excited to announce that I'll be participating in the Passport to Reading event, sponsored by Taft High School in Woodland Hills, CA, on Saturday April 5, 2008, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. It's a celebration of one of my favorite things-- reading! And I'll be joined by lots of amazing authors, illustrators, and storytellers. My session is scheduled for 11:00 -- and I really hope to see YOU there!

  3. What a great event to have at a high school. I would've loved to have met my favorite authors back then. I used to read Lois Duncan, Francine Pascal, Beverly Cleary, and of course Madeleine L'Engle. Hope you had a great visit!

  5. Hey Susan-
Waaayyy back then I used to read Judy Blume, Norma Klein, Judith Krantz, Victoria Holt, Sidney Sheldon, and others as they didn't have near as many YA titles.
Thanks for reading K&B- I'm trusting Hawaii was fun???

I'm going to present workshops there too. Have you ever done this event before? I haven't. I'm not sure what I'm getting into. I'm happy that you'll be there too.
