The DARK FLAME Tour so far!!!

Oh man, I cannot thank you all enough for the outpouring of enthusiasm and support! I always say I have The Best Readers Ever--but that's only because it's true!

The signing at the Mall of America was fabulous--I met Facebook friends, two sisters who drove 10 hours, a girl who flew all the way from Colorado, and many, many more--thanks for making my release day so special!

And speaking of release day, I started the day with a really fun radio interview with MN station KWNG, then later, I stopped by the KARE TV studios to do an interview with news anchor Pat (loved him-he's awesome!), which you can see HERE!

And tomorrow I'm off to Chicago, IL where I'll be signing books at:

Wednesday, June 23, 7:00 pm
Reading & Signing
BORDERS
1500 16th Street, Suite D
Oak Brook, IL 60523

Hope to see you there!

Oh, and last but not least, in non-IMMORTALS related news, I'm thrilled to announce that the film rights to my adult novel, FLY ME TO THE MOON, have been optioned by Fox 2000 with Ridley Scott's Scott Free Productions set to develop!!

That's it for now . . .

Night All!

Free Book Friday Podcast Interview!

Hey Everyone-

Amazing author of THE FIDELITY FILES and good friend, Jessica Brody, is featuring moi this week on her awesome new website-- Free Book Friday!

She put together a really fun (and very professional sounding, I might add!) podcast interview where I talk about which airplane stories were true in FLY ME TO THE MOON, the story behind the story in SAVING ZOE, and why I chose the blog- email-postcard format in CRUEL SUMMER -- and more!

Oh, and while you're there, I'm giving away signed copies of those books as well so be sure to sign up for your chance to win!

It's so easy-- all you have to do is click HERE!

Oh, and to subscribe on iTunes click HERE!

Best of luck and Happy Monday!

Llevame a la Luna!

So, the other day I was tooling around the Internet conducting some research when I came across the Spanish version of FLY ME TO THE MOON (or, as I like to call it, Spanish Fly), which will be released in November 2008 in a Spanish speaking country near you! Viva Espana!

Also, I just now realized that this Wednesday, which, according to my calendar is just two days away, I will be heading to my first ever RWA National Conference (yes, I've been so ridiculously busy that I didn't realize it was actually THIS week!) and I'm really looking forward to it! Partly because it's in San Francisco, one of my favorite cities, and partly because I get to meet up with a whole bunch of friends I only know through the Internet, catch up with others I don't get to see near as much as I'd like, and gawk at all sorts of famous authors I admire like Nora Roberts and Melissa Marr and, well, basically all of these people.

And while I'm not taking part in the Literacy Signing, (basically because I wasn't totally sure I would be attending the conference until recently due to house guests, impending deadlines, etc.), or the St. Martin's signing (leaving Saturday morning due to above mentioned house guests), I will be lurking around, most likely looking extremely lost, so if you're around too, please stop by and say hi!

Well, that's probably it for the week, so have a good one!

PS-- Oh, and I forgot to mention that the Teen Fiction Cafe got a lovely mention here, calling it "funny and witty and something which teen readers all over the globe would be interested . . ."
So if you haven't stopped by yet, please do so soon!

Weekend Update!

Even though I'm supposed to be working on something I promised a certain someone I'd finish by Monday, I thought I'd procrastinate just a few minutes longer and show you the cover of my May release, CRUEL SUMMER---

I have to admit that I'm really excited about it! And since I never really have a cover in mind when I'm writing the book, I'm always so curious to see what the art department comes up with, and this time they did not disappoint! I love the vibrant colors, the relaxed, summertime vibe-and I think it really suits the story. . .

Also, while I'm on the subject of covers. . .

That is the cover for the German edition of FLY ME TO THE MOON-- on sale in Germany in February 2008! And if any of you Sprechen Zie Deutsch, could you be so kind to drop me a line and tell me if my clumsy translation of "Next Please!" is correct?

That's all for now--
Have a good weekend everyone!
