Blue Moon

Blue Moon
You saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
Blue Moon
You know just what I was there for
You heard me saying a prayer for
Someone I really could care for

And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will hold
I heard somebody whisper please adore me
And when I looked to the moon it turned to gold

Blue Moon
Now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

(lyrics by Richard Rogers & Lorenz Hart)

Just wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year and all the best in 2010!!! And, as these things go, this particular New Year's Eve just happens to be a BLUE MOON--how cool is that?!

Celebrate and be safe!

  2. Hey! It's me again.

    I love this song.

When I saw the song I remembered a old soap-opera called 'Beijo do Vampiro'(Vampire Kiss). It was the opening song. I was 11, now I'm 18!

    Happy New Year!!!

I wish you the best that life can give.

  7. Alyson! Wonderful blue moon night and an eclipse on New Year's Eve. It won't happen again until 2028.

Just finished Evermore. Absolutely loved it! I can't wait to read Blue Moon to follow Ever and Damen's adventures.

Really glad to have found you. Happy New Year to you and yours!

  11. Hello Ms. Noel,
I am doing a project about your book Laguna Cove, for my 10th grade English class. I was wondering what your favorite literary devices are that you use. What are the most prominent in the book? Thank you so much and Happy New Year,
    Morgan, a Big Fan

  12. Hi Morgan-
To be honest, when I'm writing, I don't think about things like "literary devices"--I just write the story I want to write!!

    :)

Sorry that's not much help, but it's all I got!

  14. Happy New Year to you too!
I love that song, I learned how to play it on the piano before.
I was so excited for the blue moon, but where I was, you couldn't really see it, so I was kind of sad!
I'm totally in love with your books right now, and I just read all three last week while on vacation (I read a little more than is socially acceptable, but that's alright).
Love reading your books and blog, and look forward to hearing more from your mind! =]

Oh my god I really can´t believe that I am actually writing you! I just finished reading Shadowland in English and I can´t wait for it to be published in Greek. I live in Greece and till now here we only have the first book of the Immortals series, which I already have read and because I could not wait for the others two to be published in greek I ordered the English version. Now I can´t wait for the forth book to come out! I am so thrilled that I found out about your Immortal series because I am 23 but it makes feel like I am 17 again! Is this really bad? :p

Your writing is thrilling and soothing, both at the same time! I love the relationship between Damen and Ever and I hope you won´t stop writing about them! Unfortunately I found out about the Blue Moon Eve three days later! I really think it is truly an exciting phenomenon and I wish I would be able to see it! I am sending you, my warmest wishes for 2010, hoping you get the best in life!!! (please be kind with my english, my first language is greek)
    <3 Kristen

PS How many more books in the Immortal series are you planning to write?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Ya Sou Kristen!! Your English is great--much better than my Greek and I lived in Mykonos for 7 years!!

Thanks so much for all the kind words--I really appreciate it and hope you like the rest of the series too!

I have to say that I was especially excited when I learned that they'd be published in Greece as I have such fond memories of my time there and all the warm and wonderful people I met!

    Thanks for stopping by!

Ya soy Alyson! Ti kanis? :D I can't believe you actually answered, I am so very much happy! I know about Mykonos, I read it on my Evermore book in Greek! I am really glad you like Greece, it is trully a great place to live, with great landscapes and great places to visit. I live in Thessaloniki, which is the second biggest city of Greece, after Athens being the first. Have you ever visited Thessaloniki?

You really do deserve all the kind words so no need to thank me! I am sure I'll love the rest of the series too I just can't wait for the fourth book to be published and then I'll have to wait again for the next two! :((((
I know that you have already answered the question about visiting other places for signing books but do you plan in visiting again Greece? If so I 'd love to meet you in personal, share some greek words for fun and get my books signed! :D

Finally I know that many people tend to compare your series with the twilight saga but after reading both of them I have to say that there's really no comparing, nothing(!)because your series is so brilliantly writen, so much better than any other series I 've read (and believe me they are quite a lot) that it makes me want to cry! Your story is so unique that's just impossible to forget! Also the information that you have in your books about aura reading and wicca is fantastically written (here in Greece besides my studies I work as a columnist in some metaphysical greek magazines (although I am taking a little break now) and these things are something that I have wrote about and you have them right)although it's in greek if you want, you can check my editor's blogspot here: http://indigomagazines.blogspot.com/

PS I rented Marie Antoinnette movie so I could see the coustoms Ever and Damen were wearing! LOL and I loved them!

  24. Hi Kristen- No, I never got to Thessaloniki, though I did spend a lot of time in Athens (in the winter) because my friend had a house there- and even though it's crazy and crowded, it was a really nice break from the serenity of the island!

I would love to go back to Greece, I haven't been back since I left, so my fingers are crossed that someday I'll get to sign books there!

I think it's so cool that you write for a metaphysical magazine! I'm fascinated by all of that stuff, as I'm sure you can tell, so that must be a lot of fun for you!

Thanks again for taking the time to stop by!
