So, the other day I was
Also, I just now realized that this Wednesday, which, according to my calendar is just two days away, I will be heading to my first ever RWA National Conference (yes, I've been so ridiculously busy that I didn't realize it was actually THIS week!) and I'm really looking forward to it! Partly because it's in San Francisco, one of my favorite cities, and partly because I get to meet up with a whole bunch of friends I only know through the Internet, catch up with others I don't get to see near as much as I'd like, and gawk at all sorts of famous authors I admire like Nora Roberts and Melissa Marr and, well, basically all of these people.
And while I'm not taking part in the Literacy Signing, (basically because I wasn't totally sure I would be attending the conference until recently due to house guests, impending deadlines, etc.), or the St. Martin's signing (leaving Saturday morning due to above mentioned house guests), I will be lurking around, most likely looking extremely lost, so if you're around too, please stop by and say hi!
Well, that's probably it for the week, so have a good one!
PS-- Oh, and I forgot to mention that the Teen Fiction Cafe got a lovely mention here, calling it "funny and witty and something which teen readers all over the globe would be interested . . ."
So if you haven't stopped by yet, please do so soon!
Congratulations on the Spanish edition! (saw the mention on Kate's (Daphne's) blog.) Have fun in San Francisco at RWA!

Hey Julia- Thanks, I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteCongrats from me too! I also saw the great news on Kate's blog. Do you speak Spanish? When your book is published in all these different languages, it must be strange to see it in languages you don't speak. :)
ReplyDeleteHey daybyday-
ReplyDeleteThanks! And no, I don't speak Spanish, even though I am one half hispanic . . .
And yeah, it's so exciting to get the copies in the mail . . .and then I have no idea what to do with them!
Thanks for stopping by!
Congrats on the spanish language version! Do you have copies of all your foreign language books?
