So, yesterday was a great day.
Not only did EVERMORE & BLUE MOON remain on the New York Times Bestsellers list for 36 & 14 weeks respectively, but I received, hot off the press, straight from my publisher, the finished, hard cover copy of SHADOWLAND!!!
And it's BEAUTIFUL!!!
Seriously. Beautiful.
I am in awe of the talented people in the St. Martin's art department--they really outdid themselves this time!!
(And no, I'm not giving it away--not even to my mom--it's too pretty--and it's mine-- all mine!!!)
In other IMMORTALS related news, I've recently learned that EVERMORE is also a bestseller in both the UK and Spain--so Rock On my transatlantic friends-- THANK YOU-THANK YOU-THANK YOU for that!!!
And I hear that today it's being released in France as ETERNELS-- Viva France!!!
Also, I wanted to remind you I'll be chatting with the ReaderGirlz, on Monday, October 19th from 6:00 -9:00 pm Eastern, in honor of YALSA Teen Read Week! So please stop by and say hi if you get the chance.

ReplyDeleteWhen will the okay be given? Wow, the cover is gorgeous!! After Shadowland, the next books will be printed in hardcovers first, right? I can't wait to pick up my copy on 11/17. That's a long time... The wait will be worth it cuz of Ever & Damen. The other guy... Jude. I hope he's very mysterious and cool.

Hey, thanks. I had an okay week. A bit of a rough time with tests but I'm okay now!! So, how many books will there be in the Riley Series? Approximately. I think I'll call it Lil' Riley Series. Lol. It sounds perfect.

I love the book cover. I wish you could come to Florida. You also mentioned the date of my birthday! Strange how that works. I seriously can't wait until Shadowland comes out. Right now I am reading Saving Zoe...AMAZING!

One month, huh? I guess time will fly by really quick. Well, it does. I remember 5 months ago, I found Evermore on a shelf at Wal Mart. Two months later, I hunted it down at Borders. Next month, I find Shadowland again. This time, I make sure it's Costco. :P

ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous- Thanks so much! To answer your question, there will be 6 books in the series- SHADOWLAND comes out on 11.17.09, DARK FLAME in 2010, and books 5 & 6 (no titles yet!) in 2010/11. Also, in Fall 2010, Riley, Ever's ghostly sister, will get her own series!
