HaHa! That's how I'm spending my Thursday too. Some of my librarian friends and I even got t-shirts made that say "Twibrarian" on them. I hope you have fun and enjoy the movie!:)
I think I am the only person I know who has absolutely no plan to ever see the movie. I read the books, and I enjoyed them, but I am certain that the movie could never be like my own imagination, and it will drive me insane. But then I'll never be able to remember exactly how I pictured the characters and the various settings -- only that they were not like the movie. This is the same reason why I don't watch the Harry Potter movies. Wish I could do it. Hope you enjoyed it, though!
Hey Caryn- You know, I had absolutely no expectations going into it, and since I read the book two years ago, and never got past the second book in the series, I actually forgot a lot of the scenes! The best part of the movie for me was seeing HUNDREDS of teens so excited about characters from a BOOK that they lined up hours in advance to see them on screen! As a writer, that truly warmed my heart!
