Wonderful

(Blog title courtesy of Adam Ant)

So last night's signing in Oceanside was AMAZING!

Seriously. Amazing.

One of my best events yet.

When teacher extraordinaire Mrs. Duncan first approached me to do it several months back, I had no idea what was in store for me. But between her, her students, the readers, store CRM Lisa Haynes, and the wonderful and enthusiastic B&N staff--it was a total treat from beginning to end.

It stared with this:

A SHADOWLAND necklace that I couldn't wait to wear--and Cinda Williams Chima who I signed alongside also got one for the first book in her new series, THE DEMON KING (which, btw, just got an awesome review from the Story Siren that you can see HERE!).

And then a trip to the B&N cafe revealed this:

Yup, an IMMORTALS menu!! The top two cupcakes in that picture are the BLUE MOON and EVERMORE cupcakes--and let me tell you--they looked delicious!!

People dressed up in amazing costumes and there was even a face painter on hand!

But the best part of all, as always, was meeting YOU GUYS--the readers! I answered questions, took pictures, signed a ton of books, read a letter delivered by the world's nicest uncle who was there on behalf of his niece who couldn't make it, was interviewed by the amazing Courtney who is such a natural I fully expect to see her anchoring the news someday, and one of you told me an especially touching story that brought me to tears (shout out to Amber!) and pretty much made my entire year!

Oh, and I also got to meet the super nice and wildly talented Cinda Williams Chima whose book I can't wait to dig into!

So, a Big Huge Thanks to Mrs. Duncan, Lisa Haynes, the awesome staff at B&N Oceanside, and all of the students, librarians, teachers, and readers--you guys are The Best!!!

And just in case you missed this one, my next event is for the SHADOWLAND release on Tuesday, November 17 at the B&N in Orange and another on Thursday, November 19 at the Border's in Bakersfield (details on the sidebar)--hope to see you there!

Thank You Story Siren!!!

Oh, I'm just gobsmacked!!  Look what The Story Siren had to say about BLUE MOON:

"Blue Moon was incredible. If you thought Evermore was full of suspense and unknowns, just wait until you read Blue Moon. Noel surpassed all expectations I had for the sequel, if this is a preview to how the rest of the series will be, we all in for a huge treat.

The plot was insane, and I mean that in a good way. Noel took this novel in a direction I was never expecting, resulting in an emotional roller coaster ride that I never wanted to end. It was so cleverly pieced, so intricately meshed, I never saw it coming. Fabulous.

Pieces of Damen’s history are revealed as well as some glimpses in to Ever’s previous lives. I have to admit that was one of my favorite aspects of the story. Damen’s character was displayed on a whole new level in this novel, if you didn’t feel a connection with him in Evermore, you’ll be sure to in Blue Moon. Not to mention the new incredibly enticing characters introduced; Roman, Romy and Rayne.

Evermore was good, but Blue Moon is phenomenal. If you’re looking for a new fantasy series that’s worth reading, be sure to check out the Immortals series."- The Story Siren
